The objective of this research is to determine if there is an influence of the use of the virtual spreadsheet platform in learning the basics of the Biochemistry laboratory. For this purpose, a virtual spreadsheet platform was built using bootstrap, jquery and google chart to build graph and formula of the Lamber-Beer Law that is used to determine the concentration of patient samples in all the practices of Biochemistry. The sample consisted of 41 first-year nursing students enrolled in the subject of Biochemistry 2018-II. These students were given a pre-test, they were submitted to the use of the platform and a post-test was taken. The data obtained went through statistical analysis with the SPSS program. The results indicate: first, that the frequency of a good pre-test learning is 14.6% and after the post test it increases to 46.3%, while the misunderstanding of the fundamentals in the pretest was 56.1% and decreased in the post test at 14.6%. Second, in the hypothesis test in which the Wilcoxon test was used for nonparametric samples with a significance of α <0.05, it resulted in a p = 0.004, which allows accepting the alternative hypothesis (α> p). It is concluded that the platform of the virtual spreadsheet improves the learning in the students who take the course of Biochemistry.
