The objective of this research work is to solve Quantity problems of the Mathematics area in the students of the III cycle of primary education of the Educational Institution 5005 "Generalísimo Don José de San Martín" of the district of Callao, DREC?, with the objective of To determine the effectiveness of the Singapore Method in the development of the competence Solves problems of Quantity of the area of the Mathematics area in the students of the III cycle of primary education of the Educational Institution 5005 "Generalísimo Don José de San Martín" of the district of Callao, DREC. Being the hypothesis: The Singapore Method is effective in the development of the competence Solves Quantity problems of the Mathematics area in the students of the III cycle of primary education of the Educational Institution 5005 "Generalísimo Don José de San Martín" of the district of Callao , DREC; with the variables: Independent Variable. Singapore Method and Dependent Variable. Mathematics competencies. The approach was quantitative and had a quasi-experimental cross-sectional pretest-posttest design with two intact groups. It is concluded that there is a significant influence between the Singapore Method and the competence Solve Quantity problems in the area of Mathematics in the students of the III cycle of primary education of the Educational Institution 5005 "Generalísimo Don José de San Martín" of the district of Callao, DREC , as we can derive from the (general) hypothesis test and from the relevant tables built around the topic.
