The objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between the environment and job satisfaction during the return to work in administrative employees of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education, in the year 2022. An applied research approach was used. with a quantitative methodology. The design used was non-experimental with a correlational approach to understand and evaluate the behavior and state of the variables in the studied context. A questionnaire was applied to 143 administrative collaborators to collect data using the survey technique. The social climate at work and the job satisfaction of the administrative staff of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education are positively related (ρ=. 705, p=. 000), evidencing the veracity of the a priori theory. Yes, it is true that a satisfying workplace promotes happiness. 60.8% of administrative staff are dissatisfied with their work, 23.1% have regular satisfaction and 16.1% have high job satisfaction. The social climate in the work of administrative staff is rated as bad by 53.1%, average by 34.3% and good by 12.6%. In conclusion, the thesis supports that there is a positive correlation between job satisfaction and the social climate at work of administrative workers. Organizations can use these results to improve employee satisfaction and work environment through interventions and policies.
