The objective of this research work was to analyze the impact of playful strategies on the meaningful learning of Mathematics. The sample was made up of 25 students from the 1st. year of secondary education. During Mathematics classes, different playful strategies were applied, such as games, practical and manipulative activities. The results of the research indicated that the use of playful strategies had a positive effect on students' meaningful learning in Mathematics. A higher level of engagement, motivation, and understanding of mathematical concepts was observed when playful strategies were used compared to more traditional approaches. Furthermore, it was evident that playful strategies promoted the development of cognitive skills, such as logical-mathematical reasoning, critical thinking and problem solving. Students also showed a more favorable attitude toward mathematics and greater confidence in their abilities. These findings suggest that the use of playful strategies can be an effective tool to improve mathematics learning and promote a more meaningful and motivating approach in teaching this discipline.
