The objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between social skills and attention deficit due to hyperactivity in primary school students of educational institution number 7078 “Virgen de Chapi”, Lurín, 2022. To do this, the questions were raised of research that have guided the study in the context of the organization evaluated. The study has a quantitative approach, since statistics is used as one of its tools for collecting, processing, analyzing and presenting the results. The type of research was basic, the design was descriptive and correlational, and the method was hypothetical-deductive. In this research, the procedures of the scientific method were used, the sample was made up of 80 students from the primary level of the aforementioned institution, the sampling applied was intentional non-probabilistic for convenience. The report concludes by demonstrating according to Spearman's Rho that there is no relationship between social skills and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, due to the significance value equal to 0.158 > 0.05 in the analyzed sample of primary school students of the institution. educational center of Lurín. Concluding, that social skills do not cause attention deficit due to hyperactivity in students, since both study variables are developed independently in the analyzed sample.
