Introduction: Vocal cord paralysis generates dysphonia, breathing and swallowing difficulties. In this way, vocal therapy has been implemented to improve the patient with vocal cord paralysis. However, despite the effectiveness of vocal therapy, protocol considerations have not yet been integrated into this therapy. Objective: Describe the considerations of the protocol implemented for therapeutic management in a patient with vocal cord paralysis in a private clinic during 2024. Work Description: Four phases are established for the vocal therapy protocol; Vocal hygiene guidelines, head and neck stretches, semi-occluded vocal tract exercises and resonance were evaluated and established. Main findings: The patient with the four phases managed to modulate her voice, has less contraction at the level of the shoulder girdle, increased her TMF and TME, and is comfortable with her voice. Conclusions: In the VHI-10 the patient had an initial score of 19 points and at the end of the protocol, the score was 0 points. In the evaluation with the GRABS scale, les hoarseness, breathlessness and tension could be observed. The patient was discharged.
