This research aimed to determine the use of media and information technologies, as well as how they contribute to classroom work by primary level teachers in public schools in Metropolitan Lima, according to the National Teacher Survey (ENDO, 2018). The study method was quantitative, with a non-experimental, simple descriptive design; the sample comprised a total of 156 teachers. The instrument for data analysis was the aforementioned survey. The results showed that the most used media by teachers were television, radio, and newspapers or magazines. Additionally, the most used Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) were email and the Peru Educa website. Regarding teachers' opinions on the contribution of ICT to classroom teaching, most teachers believe it supports collaborative learning and facilitates classroom work. In conclusion, primary education teachers reported using media and information technologies in their work, as they facilitate communication, training, and the acquisition of information for their professional development, and have a significant impact on their teaching work.
