Introduction: Ankle sprain has a high prevalence and is one of the main reasons for disability worldwide and nationally. This injury usually causes complications during and after treatment that, for the most part, are related to the poor initial approach and use of outdated procedures. Objective: Our objective is to describe how the PEACE&LOVE procedure optimized the rehabilitation of patients with ankle sprains in a private physiotherapy center in Lima, during the year 2023. Job Description: This professional proficiency work (TSP) presents our professional experience during the year 2023, where we apply the recommendations of the acronym PEACE&LOVE as a treatment for patients with sprained ankle. Results: The results of its application were: improvement in the patient's confidence, mood, functionality and reduction in pain, edema and treatment time. Conclusions: We conclude that the use of the PEACE&LOVE procedure could optimize the treatment of patients with ankle sprains thanks to the recommendations focused on early mobility, progressive unloading, patient education and motivation, and therapeutic and cardiovascular exercise that have scientific support and have been demonstrated effectiveness in the recovery of soft tissue injuries.
