Introduction: Burnout syndrome is defined as the inadequate response to coping with chronic work stress. When talking about psychosocial risk factors, it refers to the interactions between the work environment and external personal aspects that impact on the health, performance and job satisfaction of employees of a work institution. Objectives: Relate psychosocial risk factors to the presence of Burnout syndrome in physiotherapists at the San Juan de Dios clinic. Material and methods: A quantitative, correlational non-experimental cross-sectional analysis was performed, where 50 physiotherapists working in the CSJD were recruited, for data collection a sociodemographic file was used, the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire (Human Services Survey version) and the Suseso Istas-21 questionnaire in its short version. For the bivariate analysis, the Chi square test was used. Results: 2.0 % of the physiotherapists presented Burnout Syndrome (SBO) and the highest level of risk was in the factor "social support of the company and quality and leadership" with 36%. The p values were higher than 0.05 regarding the relationship between psychosocial risk factors and the presence of SBO. Conclusions: Psychosocial risk factors do not influence the presence of Burnout syndrome in physiotherapists at the San Juan de Dios Clinic.
