The main purpose of the present research was to examine the relationship between coping styles and psychological well-being in students enrolled in a private university institution in Metropolitan Lima, specifically in the context of the crisis triggered by the SAR-CoV-2 pandemic. . To evaluate these variables, the Multidimensional Coping Estimation Inventory (COPE) and the Psychological Well-being Scale (BIEPS) were administered to a sample of 162 university students who belonged to the psychology faculty. The results obtained demonstrated a statistically significant association between coping styles and well-being of university students. In particular, it was found that problem-focused coping showed positive associations with acceptance, control and total well-being (ρ = .435, p<.001; ρ = .664, p<.001), as well as correlations negative with the projects (ρ = -.388, p<.001). On the other hand, emotion-focused coping presented positive correlations with all dimensions of well-being (ρ = .424 to .559, p<.001) and negative correlations with projects (ρ = -.559, p<.001). ). Finally, the other coping styles were also positively related to acceptance, control and total well-being (ρ = .316 to .897, p<.001), and negative correlations with projects (ρ = -.203, p<.05), without showing significant associations with ties and autonomy.
