The objective of this study was to know the correlation between psychological well-being and the dimensions of relationship, development and stability of the family social climate in 3rd, 4th and 5th high school students of a private educational institution in the city of Chimbote, 2019. The design research was descriptive correlational. The population with which we worked in this research was made up of 120 students from 3rd, 4th and 5th secondary school, whose ages ranged between 14, 15 and 16 years of age. It was a census study, since the entire population was selected as a sample, since the number of subjects was manageable (Guevara, 2018). The data were collected by applying two psychometric tests: The psychological well-being scale for young adolescents (BIEPS-J) and the family social climate scale (FES). As results, it was determined that the correlation between psychological well-being and the relationship dimension was very low (0.197); On the other hand, the correlation of psychological well-being with the development dimension (0.217) and with the stability dimension (0.239) of the family social climate was positive and low. It was concluded that there was a positive correlation between psychological well-being and the dimensions of the family social climate in 3rd, 4th and 5th high school students of a private educational institution in the city of Chimbote, 2019, so the general hypothesis of the investigation and the null hypothesis was rejected.
