This work presents a portfolio of three projects carried out during the master's degree in education, focused on Teaching and Research for Higher Education. These projects are centered on the development of the core skills of English language. The first project "State of the art on skills in technical English and its influence on university academic performance", conducted in the course "Realities and perspectives in higher education", involves a review of literature sources to establish a foundation for rigorous academic research. The second project “Analysis of a session in higher education” part of the course “Theory of education and learning” explores the application of educational theories in a learning session to enhance the teaching and learning processes. The third project, “Pedagogical translation and communicative approach as teaching strategies to enhance English linguistic skills”, stemming from the course “Teaching innovations in higher education”, presents an innovative approach to enhance English language proficiency. This portfolio aims to present a compilation of evidence focused on the analysis of English language skills, the application of learning theories in classroom management, and the innovation in education in English learning within the realm of higher education. It is concluded that this work shows the interaction of these aspects to enhance the English language learning.
