Postural load is a widely studied dysergonomic risk factor that must be managed to prevent musculoskeletal disorders in workers. Objective: Review of updated information related to the management of dysergonomic risk factors associated with work postures. Methodology: A qualitative documentary review study was carried out, including information related to the objectives of the research study, considering scientific documents published between June 2012 and May 2023, preferably. Results: Various scientific studies and literature related to work postures were found, evidencing its association with the development of musculoskeletal disorders in different economic sectors. The ergonomic methodology that evaluates postural load is diverse, considering the training of workers and the design of the workplace as the main preventive measures. Currently, ergonomics makes use of technological advances for the evaluation and prevention of postural load at work. Conclusions: The information reviewed from the last 10 years related to the management of dysergonomic risk factors associated with work postures agree that efficient management of these factors is essential to guarantee the well-being and health of workers, which is will be reflected in the reduction of musculoskeletal diseases represented in a lower number of days lost due to medical breaks, the economic impact due to the medical treatment required, reduction in productivity and personal factors related to a disease process. Managing the dysergonomic risk factors associated with work postures requires a multidisciplinary and participatory intervention with the aim of preventing musculoskeletal disorders. It will also contribute to the reduction of fatigue, work stress and other risk factors, favoring a healthy and sustainable work environment.
