Background: Acute Lymphatic Leukemia is one of the oncological diseases developed among age groups under 15 years of age and the second most prevalent neoplasm in Peru. The primary caregiver is responsible for the care of the pediatric patient, so they will experience a great emotional impact, which leads to a maladjustment in adaptation and coping. Objective: To determine the impact of the educational intervention "Take care to care!" in coping and adaptation capacity in primary caregivers of children with ALL in a specialized Institute in 2023. Material and method: It is a study with a quantitative approach of quasi-experimental design, consisting of 47 primary caregivers of oncopediatric patients with ALL in the IN IN. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire "Coping capacity and adaptation based on Callista Roy's theory" that was applied before and after the educational intervention "Take care to care", the Wilcoxon non-parametric test was used. Results: It was evidenced that the majority of caregivers were mothers (78.7%), the predominant level of education was complete high school (44.7%). With reference to the coping capacity and global adaptation in the population before the intervention it was low (38.3%) and medium (53.2%), after the educational intervention it was medium (48.9%), high (36.2%), it was It was calculated using the Wilcoxon non-parametric test, obtaining p=0.000 as a result. Conclusion: Primary caregivers of children with ALL have low and medium capacity, therefore an educational intervention is important to improve their well-being and their ability to cope and adapt to the current situation.
