The objective of the study was to establish the relationship between anxiety and prosocial behavior in high school students from a school in the Los Olivos – Lima 2021 district in the context of Covid-19. Descriptive-cross-sectional correlational design study. The study population was students from first to fifth year of high school, with the final sample being 137 students identified through probabilistic sampling. Two scales were applied, one to measure anxiety levels, and the other to measure prosocial behavior, assent and informed consent were used for the students and their parents or guardians, respectively. The 63,88% of students are from the 1st. year and correspond to the age group 13 years old and 23,25% of students live with mother, father and brothers. The most frequent level of state anxiety was the moderate level with 80,65% corresponding to 2nd year of studies; 35,48% of high level of state anxiety corresponds to 4th year of studies. For trait anxiety, the 38,71% of 2nd year studies reach the moderate level of trait anxiety, while 70,96% of the high level of trait anxiety corresponds to 4th year of studies. The results reflect a very low positive correlation between prosocial behavior and trait anxiety where r Pearson= 0,188 with p= 0,028; In relation to prosocial behavior and state anxiety, r Pearson = 0,180 was obtained with p = 0,036 indicating a very low positive correlation. It is concluded that there is a significant statistical correlation of trait anxiety, state anxiety and prosocial behavior in high school students from a school in the Los Olivos-Lima district.
