The evaluation of occupational health is a very important tool in the development of preventive medical activities and in the preparation of diagnoses on the health of collaborators. The musculoskeletal assessment in the evaluation of occupational health is a study and review of the process necessary to implement a systematization that accepts the inclusion of body alignment prevention studies and provides appropriate recommendations to the collaborator and the company at the level of confidentiality. which concerns both parties. We designate risk factors related to ergonomics in working conditions that cause the physical and mental demands of work on the employee and increase the probability of injuries. Factors include: work organization, workplace design, manual handling of loads, work postures, repetitive work, mental workload and environmental risks. The different postures adopted by workers are measured through functional tests to evaluate the presence of ergonomic risk factors. There are several methods and techniques that evaluate these risks in relation to musculoskeletal disorders caused by work. The clinical examination of the worker is to thoroughly and accurately evaluate the musculoskeletal system and is essential for correct diagnosis and treatment. Monitoring ergonomic risk factors allows us to establish and understand how the specific risk can affect the musculoskeletal health of the worker. This requires precise information on the special evaluation of occupational risks and an objective medical assessment of the person. It must be guaranteed that the employer frequently monitors the health of its collaborators based on the ergonomic risk factors inherent to the work, which allows the early detection of symptoms caused by musculoskeletal diseases and the adaptation of workplaces to special conditions. of the collaborator and the development of epidemiological studies.
