The objective of the study was to demonstrate the efficacy of the Soluble Fish Concentrate (CSP), which contains a high protein value and amino acid profile, in replacement of fishmeal in the diets of Litopenaeus vannamei prawns, by evaluating of zootechnical and immunological parameters. For this, 3 experimental treatments and 1 control were prepared, where the treatments would have replacement of fish meal by CSP in the following proportions T1: 0% CSP, T2: 25% CSP, T3: 75% CSP and Tc: commercial feed, this experimentation had a run time of 102 days. The zootechnical parameters were taken every 15 days and the immunological parameters at the end of the experimentation. The zootechnical results detailed that the T2 and Tc treatments obtained the maximum results in weights and sizes, with no statistical differences between the experimental groups. The immunological parameters were obtained: total hemocyte count (113.0 ± 2.00 × 105 cells/ml), superoxide anion activity (0.065 ± 0.005 O.D.), phenoloxidase activity (0.068 ± 0.001 O.D.), lysozyme activity. (0.101 ± 0.002 U/ml), plasma protein (137.1 ± 14.67 mg/ml) and bactericidal activity (72.9 ± 1.9%), indicating that CSP served as a growth promoting and immunostimulating agent, obtaining the same results as the commercial food. With the results obtained, it is concluded that the CSP is very attractive for its use in the replacement of fishmeal for shrimp feed.
