The district of Santa Rosa de Quives (province of Canta) is characterized by economic activities such as agriculture, cattle raising and tourism. Part of this community is within the classification of Livestock with subsistence production (1), that is, they have a small number of cattle, small plots and lack of knowledge of production techniques or methodologies. Among the main challenges presented by the livestock residents of Santa Rosa de Quives, is the difficulty in finding fodder for feeding their farm animals. On the other hand, the forage that is available is of low quality and almost always presents GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) problems (2), having an adverse effect on the health of cattle. And finally, there is a decrease in agricultural area due to the increase in tourist centers in the area (3). This TSP (Professional Sufficiency Work) seeks to implement a guide oriented to the production of Hydroponic Green Forage (FVH) with the support of bibliographic reviews, studies and scientific articles. This guide is intended to be an easy-to-understand tool for farmers in order to improve the feeding of their cattle in the Quives community. The proposal of the guide seeks to promote the management of hydroponic techniques that facilitate the production and/or sale of quality fresh food, with great nutritional value, free of pesticides, optimizing the use of resources and at a lower cost applied in a soilless crop. For the development of this TSP, we had the support of Yawa Planeta SAC, a company dedicated to the optimization of water resources with sustainable technology.
