Objective: To validate a questionnaire that measures knowledge and practices of personal protective equipment in postgraduate students of Stomatology of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and Methods: The tool that was designed was a 27-item questionnaire to measure knowledge and practices of personal protective equipment. Content validity, construct validity and reliability were assessed. The sample consisted of 60 questionnaires from postgraduate students of Dentistry. Results: The validation of the questionnaire was carried out with eight experts with an Aiken V of 0.857 and the modifications suggested by the experts were made. Factorial analysis was performed, which found five factors or dimensions, removing five items. A KR-20 of 0.801 and 0.845 was found for the 22-item questionnaire that measures knowledge and practices correspondingly, indicating good internal consistency. Conclusions: The questionnaire is valid and applicable to postgraduate students of Dentistry, consisting of 22 items grouped into five factors.
