The following work seeks to determine the aspects that define the professor practice of the teachers of preschool at the public educational institutions of the San Martin region, according to the "Encuesta Nacional a Docentes" (ENDO) 2018. The research was quantitative, under a descriptive-simple design, non-experimental. The population were 503 teachers of the region, with a sample of 62. The applied technic was the analysis of quantitative data (Sampieri, 2020). It was found that the external factors that improve the professor practices are the sufficient and adequate materials in a 75.8% and the adequate infrastructure in a 51.6%; about the internal factors, the professors mention that the good working environment in the educational institution optimize their professor practices in a 48%. However, the personalized consultancies and the reflection times of the professor practice do not present significant percentages. In terms of the frequency of activities related to the professor practice, the results show that 45.2% of professors almost always reflect on the results of their pedagogical practice and 43.5% of professors express that they record evidence about it. The indicators referred to the planning based on an identified problem and the systematization of its pedagogical practice do not present significant percentages. Regarding activities related to the professor work, in interactions, 72.6% of professors believe that it is easy to incorporate knowledge and local resources in learning and 66.1% of them indicate that it is easy to coordinate with parents. Finally, in pedagogical practice, 77.4% of professors state that it is easy to understand in depth the discipline of the areas under their charge and 75.8% of them think that it is easy to encourage critical thinking in students.
