The purpose of this thesis work was to determine the uses and preferences of the media and local or national information technologies used by teachers of public educational institutions in rural areas of the primary level of the UGEL Chachapoyas in the Amazon region, according to the ENDO (National Survey of Teachers) of the year 2018; from which, certain questions belonging to axis 700 were selected. Three specific objectives were considered that try to identify the characteristics of each of the dimensions raised: use of the media and information technologies, digital educational platforms and appreciation of the TIC. With this, it was possible to know the current situation regarding the mentioned topic. The research responds to a quantitative approach, because it aimed at data analysis, description and understanding as deep as possible. The result was that 79.8% of the total number of teachers in the sample (99) are satisfied with the use of digital technologies and tools or resources in the classroom because they consider that it favors the acquisition of learning. Finally, it is concluded based on the objective of the research, according to the responses obtained from public school teachers in the rural sector of the Amazon region, that there is a lack of access to the media and information technologies. Likewise, regarding the appreciation of teachers regarding the use of ICT, they had a favorable opinion, considering that its use promotes collaborative learning of students and reduces gaps in access to information. Regarding their interests in digital educational platforms provided by the State, teachers preferred the PerúEduca educational portal to receive information regarding their work and this because it provides them with easily accessible tools to strengthen and improve their pedagogical work.
