The research is based on what is found in the statistics of the Loreto Zone, being in last place with 24.7% of passed, with average marks of 11.9 and 10.9 in industrial automation of the Industrial Electricity and Electric Mechanic career. CADe SIMU is a CAD program that allows the design and simulation of industrial automation circuits, which can be downloaded from the web. The software was applied in order to establish its influence on the achievement of technical competencies in industrial automation of the Industrial Electricity career. This research is of a pre-experimental design, of an applied type and of a descriptive level. With population and sample made up of 40 students. For this, an entrance test was applied, using the software as a stimulus in the development of the course (design and simulation), ending with an exit test. In the data processing, the statistical software IBM SPSS was used. Having results: average score of 14.36, with 62.5% for a High competition and 37.5% for a Medium competition. The research concludes that the influence of CADe SIMU software is significant. Stating that, it is recommended to incorporate the use of the software in the specific Industrial Automation learning plan.
