Objective: To explore the perception about Breast Club (CM) from women diagnosed with breast cancer, describe the experience of the disease, mapping the help-seeking processes at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases - 2011, Lima - Peru. Materials and Methods: The study design was qualitative, developed in 2 processes, with 56 women. It was developed a semi-structured guide that explored: 1) Signs, symptoms, and actions as an experience of the disease, 2) Help-seeking actions of women with breast cancer during the experience of the disease, 3) Experiences lived within the program of the Breast Club (CM). People over 18 years of age, with aggressive or non-aggressive cancer treatment, patients with or without evidence of active disease, and who attend the Breast Club (CM). The information was analyzed with the ATLAS.ti 8 computer program. Results: In patients with active disease, anxiety intensifies when they do not have clear information regarding the disease and ask immediate for aid. The search for aid and the therapeutic itinerary of women with active breast cancer are emotionally affected by the physical changes produced by the disease, which intimidates them and makes them feel bad. Personally, they say that after taking the drugs their life has changed, they seek to get away from the environment. Those who are receiving non-aggressive antineoplastic treatment with evidence of active disease influence the adverse effects of the treatment on their emotional state, which leads them to react negatively, and the relationship with the family helps in the person's recovery. Patients who have non-aggressive antineoplastic treatments without evidence of active disease prioritize the close social environment and tend to be aware of it, leading them to perform preventive self-exams. The perception of Breast Club (CM) in women with aggressive antineoplastic treatments with evidence of active disease and without it, they recognize that it is a space for patients with similar situations, they provide support, guidance, learning, and trust. In those who are with non-aggressive antineoplastic treatments with evidence of active disease, it helps them feel better, accepting themselves with the physical changes as a consequence of the disease. They receive information on nutrition, psychological support, medical information, etc. Those who find themselves with non-aggressive antineoplastic treatments without evidence of active disease recognize that it is the care space, as a place where people who are going through the same health problem meet. A space for learning, distraction, and involvement in common activities. Sisterhood in women is expressed emotionally and makes them relate to other patients, emotional support strengthens their self-esteem and management of emotions by motivating them. Confidence is manifested by testimonials from women with breast cancer, it allows you to acquire new knowledge that opens options and assessment to cope with the disease. The care against breast cancer among women makes them value themselves more, the evaluation of friends can facilitate the decision to better face the disease. The value of the union between women is presented despite being distanced when cancer is diagnosed, they come together to share their emotions, fears, their pain, it makes them more participatory, communicative, and they show a predisposition to take the time to attend meetings with other similar ones. Shared vulnerability is manifested in the face of a cancer diagnosis, they value sharing to face the disease among people they do not know, they offer their time, as support from friends who collaborate a lot and make the patient feel good. Conclusions: The perception that they have of the Breast Club (CM), it is a space for self-help, emotional support and it meaning union for women who are going through the same thing. The life experience of the breast cancer disease that requires treatment with different side effects, emotionally affect woman, changing her beliefs, her desires, and her relationships with other people in her immediate environment. This experience is seen as a life lesson, rather than a punishment, and produces a spiritual change towards the search to be a better person. The diagnosis of the disease influences the emotional state, generates depressive moods, anguish, fears due to the ignorance of the result. The previous experience of the disease in direct family members and the progression of the disease increase emotional reactions, affect people's self-esteem, which little by little leads them to avoid social contact with other people. For this group, having gone through the disease and having had a positive response to treatment keeps them optimistic. The sorority of the woman in the Breast Club (CM) was manifested through the emotional, trust, care, appreciation of union and shared vulnerability.
