The objective of the present study was to describe the characteristics of the in-service training of primary education teachers from public schools located in the Lima region, according to the report of the National Teacher Survey (Remote Endo) 2020. In that way, the methodology was developed under a quantitative approach, basic type with a simple descriptive design from a secondary source. Likewise, the instruments used for data analysis were the survey prepared by the Ministry of Education of Peru with the purpose of identifying the variable "Training in service", and the variable operationalization matrix to be able to group and quantitatively describe the results provided by the Remote Endo 2020 database for each dimension of the study, through the STATA 17 program. For the sample, 1,265 primary school teachers from public schools in the Lima region were considered, of which 742 were teachers from Metropolitan Lima and 523 from Lima Provinces. The results reveal that 94.63% of teachers participated in training programs or strategies, in the same way, 88.77% considered them very useful for their work. This study concludes that many teachers participated in different training actions, rating them as useful for their teaching work.
