The objective of this research is to determine the influence of the variables age, marital status and academic level on the knowledge of HIV/AIDS in adult women from 18 to 49 years of age. Likewise, the specific objectives were to compare knowledge of HIV/AIDS according to their age group, knowledge according to marital status (married and single women) and compare them by level of education. Regarding the material and method, the quantitative Family Health Survey - ENDES 2019 was used, for the analysis binary logistic regression was used, also having a descriptive and correlational design. The sample consisted of 16,102 women, belonging to all regions of Peru, whose ages ranged from 18 to 49 years. It was obtained as a result that the associated variables influenced the knowledge regarding HIV by 4.9%. In addition, it was shown that women in early adulthood have a higher level of knowledge with respect to women who are in adolescence. It was also found that women with a higher academic level have a higher level of knowledge compared to those with only primary or secondary education or those who have none, this comparison being significant (p<0.05).
