This study outlines the main theoretical proposals about attachment. That is, those of John Bowlby, Mary Ainsworth and Mary Main, of which the secure attachment and insecure attachment converge. Likewise, the main problems that arise in adolescence were investigated, of which the following stand out: anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation. From this, the psychological and social perspectives approach the reality of the analyzed population, generanting cohesive knowledge of both focuses. For this, the Redalyc, Scielo, Dialent and ProQuest databases were used. In which articles produced between 2015-2020 were searched, which contemplate the adolescent population as the unit of analysis, their thematic focus is parental attachment and there are produced in a Latin American sample. 22 investigations were found that met theses requirements. The results indicate that parental attachment has a significant impact on the adolescent stage, according to the style developed in childhood, there will be greater or lesser predispositions to generate disorders or symptoms linked to the psychological state (anxious, depressive, suicidal and addictive tendency) and relationship (interpersonal and couple).
