The objective of this documentary research work is to know the psychological impact generated by remote work, focused on the development of work stress; Also, specifically to find the definition of remote work in the peruvian context, the impact of remote work on the development of work stress in women and the methodological approaches that are most used for the study of remote work and work stress. In order to obtain new and recent information, 13 national and international studies published between 2015 and 2021 were used, which focus on remote work and teleworking, a work modality that is most similar to the variable to be studied. Based on the information reviewed, it´s concluded that remote work is a new work modality that is characterized by the provision of services from the home or place of isolation, the most used approaches for its study are qualitative and quantitative, although it has a positive impact by reducing the levels of work stress in the collaborators, there is a minority group that develops high levels of stress due to this modality, detailing as the cause the incongruous training and lack of guidelines for a correct practice; also, it has a negative impact on women, since it generates an imbalance between personal and family life, due to the workload.
