Searching for an effective, sustainable, and affordable treatment for the management of dental hypersensitivity (HD), this research created and evaluated the effects of an experimental nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAP) paste, obtained from eggshells, for the obliteration of the dentinal tubules (TDs). Nano-hydroxyapatite was synthesized from eggshells. Pastes with the following nHAP percentages were formulated: 3, 7 and 15%. Premolar teeth samples were utilized and divided into 5 groups according to the paste applied: GI: 3% nHAP, GII: 7% nHAP, GIII: 15% nHAP, GIV: commercial paste with Zinc-Hydroxyapatite s / fluorine (Biorepair®), group V: pasta without nHAP. The samples were subjected to an initial erosive-effect test with Coca Cola® for 2 minutes. Then, the pastes were applied to the samples and brushed for 3 minutes every 24 hours for 7 days. The second erosive-effect test was on day 15 of evaluation. The samples were analyzed through a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and confocal Raman spectroscopy (RAMAN) in three instances: after the first erosive cycle, 7 days after the application of the paste and after the second erosive-effect test. The quantitative analysis of the samples showed a statistically significant difference between the groups (I, II, III) in regards to the groups (IV, V) (p <0,05) and no statistically significant difference between the groups (I, II, III), the GI showed a significant difference with G5 (p <0,05) when evaluating the mineral concentration at 7 days. It was concluded that the experimental paste, synthesized from eggshells, is effective in obliterating the dentinal tubules.
