The present work of professional sufficiency focuses on the intervention in a university student in a condition of academic risk, a condition that becomes important from the implementation of the new university law No. 30220 in our country and that refers to the students who have failed the same course more than twice. Based on the new law, the Psychological Tutoring Program was implemented, which has four axes of development: The initial and final psychological evaluation of students with academic risk conditions, using the battery of tests of the Tutoring Program; psychoeducation; psychological intervention and skills development. The effectiveness of the program is measured through an initial and final student report. For the present case, the general objective was raised: Reduce the level of Anxiety through resources at a behavioral and emotional level. For the evaluation of academic risk, the BIEPS-A Psychological Well-being scale, the resilience scale, the effective personality scale, the IDASE test anxiety self-assessment inventory, the EPA Academic Procrastination questionnaire, the academic self-efficacy questionnaire were administered. and the family APGAR questionnaire. In the intervention, resources such as Cognitive Restructuring, the Diaphragmatic Breathing Technique or Deep Breathing, Jacobson's Progressive Relaxation, among others, were used. The intervention resulted in a reduction in the level of anxiety from 60% to 30%, and the student was also able to face the academic risk condition.
