The present research analyzes the effect of the Project Method program in the learning of the electrical automatism subject of the Senati Pasco 2016 students. For the development of the research, the IV semester of the Senati Pasco Mechanical maintenance career was taken as a population, this group consisted of 40 students between 18 and 19 years of age. Given that the population turned out to be small and at the same time executable, then the sample was equal to the determined population, however they were randomly divided into two sections of 20 students each, this for the selection of the control group (A) and experimental group (B). The evaluation instrument was an evaluation (test) of the subject, which was used for pretest and posttest for both groups. Also, within the experimental group a total of 14 sessions were applied that made up the Project Method Program. In each session, the pedagogical aspects of learning were taken into account: inform, plan, decide, execute, control, and evaluate. It is concluded that the Project Method program improves the learning of the electrical automatism subject of the students of the Senati Pasco 2016, when evidencing that the value of ρ = 0,00 <0,05 (with the test of difference of medians of U of Mann-Whitney) rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the positive effect of the Project Method, even in the dimensions according to the classification of Bloom (1971) that come to be: comprehension, application and analysis.
