To minimize the transportation during the biomechanical preparation (PBM) nickel titanium (NiTi) was introduced in the manufacture of files, as well as improvements in flexibility, resistance to fatigue, new designs and kinematics. The purpose of the work was to evaluate the transportation and centricity caused by the files, Mtwo® Reciproc® Blue and XP-endo® Shaper, at 3, 5 and 7 mm. In 48 mesial canals of mandibular molars, Cone Beam tomographies (CBCT) were performed before and after PBM. Results: at 3 mm, the mesio-distal transport of Reciproc® Blue was -0.01, that of XP-endo® Shaper 0.05 and Mtwo® -0.09, in the lingual vestibule the transport of XP-endo® Shaper was - 0.06, Mtwo® 0.13 and Reciproc® Blue 0.30. Mesio-distal centricity of Mtwo® was 1.03, Reciproc® Blue 1.28 and XP-endo® Shaper 1.99, in the buccal-lingual direction Reciproc® Blue 0.09, Mtwo® 0.50, and XP-endo® Shaper 2.0. At 5 and 7 mm, all three systems produced similar results. Conclusions: The lowest transport at 3 mm in the mesio-distal direction was caused by Reciproc® Blue, followed by XP-endo® Shaper and Mtwo®. At 3 mm, the most centered system in the mesio-distal direction was Mtwo® and in the buccal-lingual direction Reciproc® Blue.
