Objective: Compare the chromatic stability of two brands of acrylic teeth exposed to different brands of instant coffee. Materials and methods: Acrylic teeth Olympic® (New Stetic, Antioquia, Colombia) and Ortolux® top (Unidesa-Odi, Madrid, Spain) color A2 were used, which were immersed in different brands of instant coffee Nescafé Tradición® (Nestle Bogota, Colombia), Nescafé Kirma® (Nestle, Sao Paulo, Brazil), Altomayo® (Altomayo SCA, Lambayeque Peru). To record the color of the teeth (n = 5), a Vita Easy Shade Advance 4.0 spectrophotometer (VITA, Bad Säckingen, Germany) was used. The teeth will be submerged in each type of coffee for 24 hours, 14 days, 7 days and 28 days, the color was recorded before and after the immersion to then determine the color difference. The results were analyzed by means of the variance test (ANOVA) / Bonferroni. Results: All the coffees produce a variation of color of the acrylic teeth (p<0.05). Altomayo® coffee generated the greatest variation for both brands of acrylic teeth (p<0.05), followed by Nescafé Tradición® and Nescafé Kirma® for Olimpyc® teeth. No differences were found between Nescafé Tradición® and Nescafé Kirma® for Ortolux® teeth. Conclusions: All the coffees used darkened the acrylic teeth independently of the commercial brand. The Altomayo coffee produced the highest pigmentation values.
