A retrospective study was realized which aimed to characterize and classify liver and kidney abnormalities found in ultrasound reports, and correlate them with the life stages of feline patients treated at Clínica Veterinaria Docente Cayetano Heredia during the period of 2013-2017. Of the 399 feline abdominal ultrasound reports, only 92 met the inclusion criteria. From these; 59 belonged to Mature patients, 24 to Senior patients and 9 to Geriatric patients according to the feline life stage classification. It was found that 82 (89%) had at least one liver disorder, 80 (87%) had at least one kidney disorder, and only 2 (2.2%) had no abnormalities in the evaluated organs. On the other hand, the most observed renal and hepatic disorder was related to the echogenicity of the parenchyma. The average number of disorders registered increased according to the life stage, being 4.6 in Matures, 4.7 in Seniors and 6.1 in Geriatrics.
