The present State of Art aimed to: Analyze the research that has been carried out on music as a pedagogical resource for the comprehensive development of children under 3 years of age (2010 - 2019) and general question: What has been investigated about music as a pedagogical resource for the integral development of children under 3 years of age (2010 - 2019)? The type of research was qualitative with a descriptive design. Likewise, the information analysis has been continuous to understand the selected axes with greater scientific rigor and instruments were used, such as: the analytical matrix - hermeneutics, bibliographic matrix and others in order to place data according to the objectives and axes of analysis by sources. It is estimated that, if it complied with the APA style, the data was kept confidential and it does not use a consent form to be useful for future researchers and for the benefit of the university itself. In the results, 20 magazines, theses, articles and projects were found at a National and International level between the years 2010 - 2019. As a conclusion, it was obtained that music is of great contribution to the formation of people and the construction of a society. Since, it allows the deployment of materials, skills and processes, as well as benefits that will support the development of the various areas of the child. This involves the role of the teacher. Since, it should not only be seen as an activity for conducting and playing instruments or imparting musical knowledge but as a resource that is essential in the classroom.
