The aim of the present study was to evaluate the productive performance of laying hens in second production phase, supplemented with four different sources of inorganic phosphates in a period of four weeks. A total of 960 hens (Hy-Line Brown) at 56 weeks old were used, distributed in 4 treatments, 6 repetitions and 40 birds per repetition, under a completely randomized design (DCA). The experimental diets were formulated with the addition of a different source of inorganic phosphorus: T1 (DCP – Peru); T2 (DCP – China); T3 (MDCP – Peru) and T4 (MDCP – China), in order to obtain a level of 0.36 % of available phosphorus per kg of feed. The following productive parameters were evaluated: Egg production (%); weight and egg mass (g); feed consumption (g); feed conversion rate (kg/kg), mortality (%) and finally an economic assessment of the feed per kg of egg produced. The data obtained was analyzed with the statistic program Minitab 17 ®. The one-way analysis variance (ANOVA) was carried out for the parametric measurements and the Kruskal Wallis for non-parametric measurements. The difference between means was determined by the Tukey test with a confidence level of 95%. No statistical difference was found between phosphate sources respect on the parameters evaluated. It is concluded that there was no significant effect between the four phosphate sources on the productive performance of laying birds in the second productive phase.
