The main objective of the research is to determine the influence of financial management on the liquidity of the Customs Agency of the Magdalena district, 2021. The methodology is a mixed approach, where the qualitative approach, its type is a case study, its technique is the interview, its instrument being the interview guide, as for the quantitative approach, it is explanatory, using documentary analysis as a technique. its instrument being the documentary analysis guide. As a result, it was obtained that financial management does not influence liquidity, since whether the company obtains external financing or investment of fixed assets, it is more of an administrative issue on the part of management, this has been reflected in the liquidity indicators that were found, such is the case of the defensive test indicator that although it has had financing, its indicator is 0.01 which indicates that the company has almost a thousandth of a cent for every 1 sol of debt it may have. Thus, no matter how much the financial manager advises correctly, it is not always applied, since the final decisions are made by the general manager and many times he does so for personal benefits. It is concluded that financial management does not influence liquidity, because even though the financial manager’s advice is correct, the manager generates disorder and instability to improve the company’s liquidity, generating more expenses for the company.
