The growing global demand for organic coffee and the pressure for more sustainable practices have led to the need to examine how biotrade principles can be effectively integrated into the value chain. Peruvian exporters face the task of balancing profitability with biodiversity conservation, social equity, and compliance with increasingly stringent international regulations. In this context, the general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between biotrade and the value chain of Peruvian organic coffee exporting companies (0902.40.00.00) for the period 2016 to 2023. The research used a quantitative approach. A sample of 32 organic coffee exporting companies was used. Data were collected through structured questionnaires. The results revealed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.78) between the adoption of biotrade practices and the economic performance of the companies. It is concluded that biotrade has a positive impact on the value chain of Peruvian organic coffee, promoting sustainable practices and improving the sector's competitiveness in the global market.
