ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of logistics management on the hidden costs of the company Transports Luchito EIRL, in the town of Trujillo, in the accounting period 2020, for which it had the support and participation of the management and accounting of the company, as well as with the 22 drivers, to whom the questionnaire was applied to evaluate levels of quality of logistics management and hidden costs and the test to determine the frequency of events that affect the regularity of trips with cargo transport. The logistics management of the company showed a high level of 0.63, logistics planning 0.68 and logistics conditioning 0.65. Logistics control and logistics forecasting at an average level (0.60). It shows a high impact of costs derived from drivers (0.67), and the problems of transport units the level of 0.59. In this way, the hidden costs generated by the management of Transportes Luchito E.I.R.L., is of high level (0.63). The most shocking events were lack of knowledge of the driver's vehicles (0.0961), lack of the driver experience (0.0961), inadequate operational status of the vehicle (0.0925), and lack of commitment of the driver to the organization (0.0907), impacting together among the 23 events classified and selected by 37.54%. It is recommended to develop planning and forecasting work to encourage greater commitment, interest and concern for the transport units in their charge among drivers and their co-pilots.
