Management skills in educational institutions, in this current context of the COVID-19 pandemic and remote education, are more relevant for improving teaching performance. However, the efforts that managers make to improve performance are not always effective and efficient. That is why the objective of this work is to determine the relationship between managementskills and teaching performance in the educational institution "Divino Maestro" - Cascas, Gran Chimú province, 2021. For this purpose, a quantitative, non-experimental investigation with descriptive design was carried out. correlational, applied to 20 teachers; the technique used was the survey and the instruments were two questionnaires; one for managerial skills and the other for teaching performance. The results, according to the objectives, allowed to verify that the managerial skills are significantly related in a regular and direct way with the teaching performance (p-value = 0.005) (r = 0.607 **) and it was also verified that the technical skills have regular and direct significant correlation with performance (p-value = 0.031) (r = 0.482 *) from the perspective of teachers at the educational institution “Divino Maestro”. Except, with two of the three dimensions of managerial skills; conceptual skills (p-value = 0.319) (r = 0.171) and human skills (p-value = 0.172) and (r = 0.318); where no significant relationship was observed with teaching performance.
