ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to determine the social and health factors that influence the participation of the elderly in the Senior Citizen Center of Guadalupe-Pacasmayo-2023. The methodology is quantitative and of causal correlational design, the inductive, deductive, statistical and synthetic analytical methods were used, the techniques of observation, interview, bibliographic compilation, etc., with the observation record instruments, interview guide, questionnaire, this was validated in the opinion of experts. The sample consisted of 50 older adults who attend and participate in the activities developed by the CAM. This research shows that social and health factors influence the participation of users of the Senior Citizen Center, these are autonomy and leadership, the family social environment, physical and mental functioning and quality of life that allows a significant influence on participation through an adequate intrapersonal as well as interpersonal relationship to integrate into the activities, also by the adequate level of communication to work together which help in the personal and social well-being of the users. The results show that greater participation in the workshops and activities of the CAM Guadalupe improves subjective well-being in older adults. The discussion of results revealed that indicators such as recognition of strengths, interpersonal relationships, physical and mental exercise, healthy habits, communication and commitment significantly influence the participation of each older adult.
