ABSTRACT This thesis focused on analyzing the influence of the prolonged use of technological resources on the interpersonal relationships of fifth-year students of the Professional Schoolof Social Work of the National University of Trujillo in the year 2023. The specific objectives of the research were determine how the prolonged use of technological resourcesaffects the lives of students and how interpersonal relationships are manifested in this groupof fifth-year students of the Social Work degree. The study population consisted of 75 fifth-year students from the aforementioned school. Methods such as inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic and the statistical method were used. The main techniques used were the survey and the interview, supported by instruments such as questionnaires and interview guides respectively. These methods andtechniques allowed collecting both qualitative and quantitative data for the analysis of thevariables. The results obtained revealed that the prolonged use of technological resources has a direct and negative influence on the interpersonal relationships of fifth-year students of the Professional School of Social Work. This is evident in the occasional coexistence with weak socio-affective bonds and few shared social experiences among the students, as well as in weak socialization, limited interpersonal communication and low integration in groupson the part of the student.
