ABSTRACT This research is titled Drip irrigation system and profitability of asparagus cultivation for farmers in San Pedro de Lloc, 2022, whose main objective was to analyze the influence of the drip irrigation system on the profitability of asparagus cultivation in San Pedro. de Lloc, 2022. The variables were the drip irrigation system and profitability, and as a population, the empirical documentation that farmers use to keep crop notes was used, documentary analysis was used. The design used was non-experimental correlational. It was concluded that to plant and harvest an area of land of one hectare of asparagus in San Pedro de Lloc, farmers incur a production cost of S/ 17,353.00 and sales an amount of S/ 16,425.00, obtaining a profit of S/ - 928.00. With these considerations and in view of the result with a negative indicator, it was necessary to plan other campaigns considering that the asparagus plant has a useful life of about ten years. In this sense, in the second campaign, a profit of S/ 11,000.00 is obtained and of S/ 12,000.00 for the third campaign. These results are mainly due to the fact that the production cost is reduced because it is not necessary to replant the asparagus or condition the land. new since the plant has a long productive life.
