ABSTRACT The present project called "STUDY OF CHARACTERIZATION OF THE SOIL FOR IRRIGATION PURPOSES OF THE GREEN AREAS OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF TRUJILLO.2018", has the objective of carrying out the study of the characterization of the soil of the green areas of the National University of Trujillo allows us to obtain a real diagnosis of the soil, in the conditions that are found because the various climatic changes that affected our area, these were damaged, this is how to obtain results and draw conclusions for a future design of irrigation and maintenance of the different study areas in which it will be carried out for the proper functioning and to have in optimum conditions the green areas of our alma mater. The agronomic design criteria are supported by their respective calculations obtained by the laboratory in the samples taken, to ensure an optimal clarification of soil conditions. For the development of this project, the criteria for the preparation of samples of soils in the different areas of the University and taken to the laboratory for their respective analyzes were taken into account, zoning of the areas with their respective topographic survey was also used. , whose purpose is to be able to determine the areas to work and to design it.
