ABSTRACT The use of water and its management have been an essential factor in increasing the productivity of agriculture and ensuring predictable production and taking advantage of water resources in the agricultural sector, demand special attention, because this sector is the one that receives the greatest amount of water. consumes water and probably is the one with less efficiency it does; In this sense, an increase in irrigation efficiency can be translated into additional volumes of water to serve larger growing areas. The objective of this research is to: Describe the technical and normative criteria for designing the irrigation infrastructure of the Huamanshaque canal of the Corral Grande farmhouse - Sanagoran district - Sánchez Carrion - La Libertad province, to fulfill this objective it is necessary to carry out topographic studies, carry out studies of soil mechanics, carry out the hydrological studies of the area, carry out the hydraulic and structural design, and make the costs and budgets of the irrigation infrastructure. In the present work it was considered to design the irrigation infrastructure of the Huamanshaque channel; that currently has the problem of water loss by filtration in the conduction, distribution and overflow of water, for this the present project contemplated: the design of 01 catchment of spring, design of 2246.25 linear meters of the line of conduction with PVC UF of 110mm C-7.5, design of 52 lateral sockets, design of 03 air passes of 15, 50 and 20 ml, design of 07 cyclopean concrete support walls and 02 dissipating pools. The design flow for the present research work is 0.005 m3 / s, it is designed to irrigate 27.50 hectares.
