The current correlational research has as a general objective to demonstrate that the teacher-student relationship is correlated with the academic performance of Language students at Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, 2021 with the purpose of motivating the student to continue studying and develop positively in the educational environment, that teachers know the importance of their bond with students and their role as a guide in the teaching-learning process. Methodologically this is a quantitative approach research with a sample universe of 34 students. For the data collection the weighted averages of the students were used in order to find out their academic performance and the survey, to know the relationship that these students have with their teachers. Finally, the data collected are analyzed through statistical judgment, with the intention of showing the existence of a tie between the teacher-student relationship and academic performance. From the analysis of the results, it is concluded that there is a direct relationship with a high degree of relationship between academic performance and the teacher-student relationship of Language students, Universidad Nacional de Trujillo in the year 2021.
