ABSTRACT The present research had the objective: describe the infestation and control of Spodoptera frugiperda in Vaccinium corymbosum L. var. Biloxi, under the conditions of Cyclone Yaku in Virú, La Libertad, 2023. It was non-experimental research of a descriptive, correlational type, for which the research technique of documentary review and analysis was used and whose data collection instruments were records, instructions, formats and images. The study population was made up of 10 hectares of which the sampling units were plots of 1.7 hectares. The study variables were: Evaluation procedure, infestation and control of Spodoptera frugiperda. The results obtained show that the infestation was between 9% and 13%, its control was carried out with entomopathogens in rotation with the insecticide based on the active ingredient Spinoteram; with action threshold of 7% with a total of 5 applications The correlation of the climatological parameters with the infestation of Spodoptera frugiperda was positive with a low level for relative humidity greater than or equal to 95%, positive high level for solar radiation accumulated by week (w/m2) and very high positive for weekly average temperature.
