ABSTRACT In the following report, the retrospective validation of the manufacturing process of dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 15mg / 5mL was carried out; The necessary information was collected from 14 batches manufactured using the technical envelopes provided by the quality assurance area, thus demonstrating all the documented evidence that the process is capable of consistently and repetitively meeting the pre- established specifications in the inspection protocol. validation. To meet the objective of the development of the retrospective validation under study, the stage of packaging in each batch was evaluated, in addition the information of the compromised areas was collected, equipment used in the analysis; thus proving that everything was properly qualified The statistically evaluated parameter was the content of active principle by measuring the capacity of the process (cpK). The data obtained were processed in the Minitab program, using the mean and standard deviation functions. It is concluded that the retrospective validation of the manufacturing process of dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate15mg / 5mL; It complies with the parameters established in the Validation Protocol, obtaining constant results between batches in the packaging stage of the finished product and its processing capacity is satisfactory.
