ABSTRACT The objective of this report was to validate the High Resolution Chromatography (HPLC) method for the quantification of Butoconazole nitrate 100 mg ovules. To make this report, we worked with a sample of 20 ovules, which was reduced to fine particles, the mobile phase was composed of methanol HPLC and phosphate buffer solution pH 3.0 (65:35), the linearity parameters of interval system of 50%, 75%, 100%, 125% and 150%, linearity method samples were prepared by adding the active ingredient Butoconazole nitrate to the placebo, containing concentrations of 80%, 90%, 100%, 110% and 120 % of the final concentration (0.1 mg/mL), accuracy was applied by adding a known concentration of the active ingredient Butoconazole nitrate to the placebo, precision of the instrumental system the standard was prepared and injected 5 times, repeatability the standard was prepared standard and sample in sextuplicate and injected in duplicate, the different analyst intermediate precision was preceded as repeatability. The results were compared with the North American Pharmacopoeia (USP 42). The results of the validation of the system linearity parameter for the correlation coefficient was 0.9997 and the response factor was 1.175, for the method linearity parameter the result of the correlation coefficient was 0.9981 and the response factor 0.982, the accuracy parameter Cochran's G test was 0.653, for the precision parameter of the instrumental system the coefficient of variation of the system was 0.791. for repeatability, the analysis coefficient of variation was 0.872 and for the parameter of intermediate precision different analyst was 0.298. It was concluded that the HPLC method complies for the parameters of linearity, accuracy and precision that includes instrument system precision, repeatability, intermediate precision, different analyst for the titration of butoconazole nitrate.
