Consumo de ciprofloxacino 200 mg/100 mL en pacientes hospitalizados del Hospital II Chocope – EsSalud, Abril 2019 - marzo 2020

Abstract

El objetivo que tuvo este presente informe de prácticas pre-profesionales fue determinar el consumo de ciprofloxacino 200 mg/100 mL en pacientes hospitalizados del Hospital II Chocope – EsSalud, abril 2019- marzo 2020 en los servicios de hospitalización (Medicina, Cirugía, Ginecología, Obstetricia, Unidad de Vigilancia Intensiva - Uvi). Para lo cual se desarrolló un estudio tipo descriptivo - retrospectivo. Para determinar el consumo de ciprofloxacino 200 mg/100 mL administrados por vía endovenosa se utilizó la metodología del sistema de Dosis Diaria Definida (DDD), los datos fueron obtenidos del Sistema de Gestión Hospitalaria del Hospital II-Chocope. El mayor consumo ciprofloxacino 200 mg/100 mL fue en el mes de abril con un total de 383 unidades consumidas lo cual representa el 13% y los meses de menos consumo fueron noviembre con un total de 143 unidades consumidas lo cual representa el 5% y marzo con un total de 143 unidades consumidas lo cual representa el 5%. Con respecto al consumo mensual de ciprofloxacino 200 mg/100 mL expresado en DDD/100 camas/día, se obtuvo como resultado que la DDD/100 camas/día más alto fue en el mes de abril con un valor de 9,01 y el DDD/100 camas/día más bajo fue en el mes de marzo. La tendencia de la DDD/100 camas/día de ciprofloxacino 200 mg/100 mL presento un coeficiente de correlación positivo r=0,81 con un nivel de significancia p=0,44 el cual es estadísticamente no significativo. Finalmente se evaluó el costo total del consumo de ciprofloxacino 200 mg/100 mL durante el periodo de abril 2019- marzo 2020 generando un costo total de S/. 3591,42.

ABSTRACT The objective of this report of pre-professional practices was to determine the consumption of ciprofloxacin 200 mg/100 mL in hospitalized patients of hospital II Chocope – EsSalud, April 2019- March 2020 in hospitalization services (Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Intensive Surveillance Unit-Uvi). For which a descriptive-retrospective study was developed. To determine the consumption of ciprofloxacin 200 mg/100 mL administered intravenously, the methodology of the Defined Daily Dose (DDD) system was used, the data were obtained from the Hospital Management System of the II-Chocope Hospital. The highest consumption ciprofloxacin 200 mg / 100 mL was in the month of April with a total of 383 units consumed which represents 13% and the months of least consumption were November with a total of 143 units consumed which represents 5% and March with a total of 143 units consumed which represents 5%. With respect to the monthly consumption of ciprofloxacin 200 mg/100 mL expressed in DDD/100 beds/day, it was obtained as a result that the highest DDD/100 beds/day was in the month of April with a value of 9.01 and the lowest DDD/100 beds/day was in the month of March. The DDD/100 bed/day trend of ciprofloxacin 200 mg/100 mL presented a positive correlation coefficient r=0.81 with a level of significance p=0.44 which is statistically non-significant. Finally, the total cost of the consumption of ciprofloxacin 200 mg/100 mL during the period of April 2019- March 2020 was evaluated, generating a total cost of S/. 3 591.42.
