The following project encompasses the development of the design, modeling process, and construction of a Michel Banki turbine, to be used as a laboratory module in the facilities of the academic-professional Mechanical Engineering School of the National University of Trujillo. Among the project objectives is to build the module with appropriate dimensions to be tested with parameters artificially generated from a pumping system simulating height. The geometry of the elements constituting the Michel Banki turbine was determined based on the specific number of turns nc = 140 generated by the simulated height data for the turbine, which consisted of a pump delivering 5 m of height and 1020 l/min at the turbine system inlet. The resulting equipment is a dismountable didactic module of a Michel Banki turbine that allows the observation of flow transit and provides the possibility of future modifications for better practical study.
